 | History of GHC |
What started as a small country hospital in 1900, has become a multi-facility corporation. In the 1990's the Missionary Benedictine Sisters formed a new corporation - Graceville Missionary Benedictine Sisters - to operate an expanded range of health care services under the new title: Graceville Health Center (GHC). It was also during this time that GHC acquired Grace Home from the City of Graceville.
Grace Village was built in 2005 and connects to Grace Home. This 16 apartment assisted living facility provides tenants who are unable to stay at home but do not require 24-hour care to live in a residential setting with services designed to meet their individual needs.
Graceville Health Center now encompasses every area of health care through clinics in Graceville and Chokio, Holy Trinity Hospital, Home Health Services, Grace Home long-term care, and Grace Village assisted living.
